| Breit's was
founded in 1948 by Ernest Breitenbach. Long established
as a quality home remodeling company,
featuring kitchen
design, kitchen remodeling and bathroom
remodeling with designer
and custom cabinets, Breits is a favorite
in the Cleveland,
Ohio, area. Breit's is known for building
and renovating custom
kitchens and bathrooms with
the highest standards.
Mr.
Breitenbach, or Mr. Breit (as he was known),
learned the trade of upholstering furniture with
leather, and opened his shop on Detroit Avenue.
There he produced kitchen booths and tabletops.
Along the way, the booth business was eliminated
and the tabletop business grew into sink tops
and cabinets. Under his direction, Breit's was
the first company in Cleveland to produce a sink
top with a stainless steel edge. Mr. Breit passed
away in 1998, and today the company is guided
by his two sons, Art and Bob.
In
addition to manufacturing their own cabinets and
countertops, Breit's carries the full line of WoodMode
and Brookhaven cabinets, Corian®,
Granite, Zodiaq®,
and Formica countertops, as well as top
name sinks, flooring, and appliances.
